General info

We offer free delivery on all orders worldwide.

About 95% of orders are fulfilled locally, in the same country as the delivery address, not internationally.

In some countries you can upgrade to Express Delivery at checkout.

For most orders, your map will arrive about 3 working days after you order. But there are exceptions to this - please see below for more info.

Personalised orders usually take a little longer, because I have to do the personalisation and then get your approval. Usually personalisation adds 1-2 days to the delivery time.

Produced and delivered locally

The Unique Maps Co. is an international company that prints, frames, personalises and delivers maps all around the world.

We have specialist printing and framing facilities in 23 countries. This means that about 95% of orders produced and dispatched locally within your country. You won't pay any import duties and delivery will be quick.

By keeping production local it reduces the CO2 emissions from your order, and almost every order arrives in perfect condition.

Where is my map?!

If you've been waiting a long time for your beautiful historic map to arrive, please do the following:

  • Check your spam folder to see if I've sent you an email about your order. If you don't see anything, you may have entered an incorrect email address when you ordered.
  • Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address.
  • Look for a 'sorry we missed you!' slip from the local postal or courier service
  • Check with your neighbours, in case the courier left the package with them.

If you can't find your map, and it is more than a few days past the estimated delivery date, get in touch with us at support@uniquemaps.com with your order number and our team will do their best to help you.

If your map is taking a very long time to arrive, or has been lost in the system, we will send you a replacement free of charge.

Delivery time

Shipping time varies depending on your location, but is generally about 3 working days. This includes 1-2 days to print and dispatch your map, and then 1-2 days for the map to be delivered to you.

Personalised and custom made maps usually take a few days longer. We have to actually do the personalisation (which takes time), and then we have to send it to you for approval.

Please get in touch if you need the map to arrive in time for an important date.

Face masks and other non-map products generally have a longer processing time (4-5 days) which means you'll likely receive your order in about 10 days.

The farther you are from one of my production facilities, the longer your delivery time will be. The maximum delivery time should be around 17 days for some parts of Africa.

Express delivery

If you need your order to arrive quickly, you can select Express Delivery at checkout. This option is not available in every country.

If you pay for Express Delivery, I will usually send your order by overnight courier. This means you should get your map in about 2 working days. In some cases we can deliver maps the next working day, but it's best to contact us first if you need a map urgently.

Larger framed maps

Generally, the larger the map, the longer it will take for the delivery.

If you've ordered a framed map larger than 100cm/40 inches, delivery is usually within 7-10 working days. If you need quicker delivery, please get in touch before you order. Sending large frames by courier is usually very expensive.

100% damage free guarantee

Although almost all of my maps arrive in great condition, sadly some orders do arrive damaged.

If your order is damaged at all during delivery, we will send you a priority replacement free of charge.

Just snap a couple of photos and send them to support@uniquemaps.com. Please take a photo that shows the whole map - and if the packaging has been damaged, please take a photo of that as well.

Customs fees

You shouldn't be charged custom fees if you order from one of the 22 countries or territories where I produce maps.

We will always try to make sure that there are no customs fees to pay.

If you're worried about import duty and custom fees, contact me before you order. Usually we can find a way of getting the map to you without having to pay any fees.
