Unique 3D Maps

Our small (but growing!) collection of maps that have undergone the dramatic Unique 3D™ process. Our trademarked process involves dozens of steps and hundreds of hours to convert an old 2D map into 3D. (But please note, it is still printed in 2D - the map does not protrude from the paper or canvas... it just looks that way!)

Unique 3D maps are made by combining land elevation (altitude) data, and sometimes ocean bathymetry data, with old maps, and then processing them in a special way that gives the appearance of bright peaks and mountain ranges throwing deep shadows.

If the map you want is not listed on this page, don't despair! I can still turn it into a 3D map; it will just cost a little bit more.
