Art size guide
Choose a size that suits both the artwork and the space around it. Smaller prints invite a closer look and work beautifully in pairs or gallery walls, while larger pieces create a stronger focal point and give intricate compositions room to be appreciated. Consider where you will display the artwork and how far away you will usually view it.

Your artwork fills the sheet, with no additional white border beyond the design shown in the product images. To request a white border or extra space around the artwork, please contact us or leave a note with your order.

Framed art prints
Our standard frames add approximately 2cm (0.75in) on each side. For example, a 45x60cm print measures around 49x64cm including its frame, while a 24x36in print measures around 25.5x37.5in. Use these outer dimensions when planning the space above a sofa, bed or other furniture.
Artworks over 125cm/50in usually have wider frames. For a particular frame width or style, explore our custom framing options.

Planning to frame your artwork yourself? The guidance below will help you choose the right fit, whether you are buying a ready-made frame or working with a local framer.
Choosing a frame that fits
Your chosen size refers to the print itself, not the outside of a frame. Look for the dimensions a frame is designed to hold, usually described as its 'artwork size' or 'picture size'.
For example, a print measuring 18x24 inches needs a frame that fits 18x24 inch artwork. A print measuring 60x90cm needs a frame that fits 60x90cm artwork. If you are using a separate mount, the frame must accommodate the mount's outer dimensions instead.
For unusual sizes, we recommend waiting until your print arrives before ordering a frame. Finished dimensions can vary by a few millimetres, so measuring the print first helps ensure a good fit.
For artwork that needs to fit exact dimensions in centimetres or inches, please contact us before ordering. Custom sizing is available at no additional charge for prints over 50in/125cm.
Framing larger prints
For a large print, order the artwork first and wait for it to arrive before purchasing a separate frame. Measure the print itself rather than relying on an approximate conversion between inches and centimetres.
If you are using a local framer, take the artwork with you so they can measure it and advise on a suitable frame and mounting method.
Careful mounting helps larger prints sit flat and reduces the risk of rippling. A professional framer can advise on the appropriate approach, or we would be happy to frame your artwork for you.
