We absolutely love our custom LOTR map! We hung it up right in our bedroom, and bought these really nice metal-tone pins that match well. The customization is so cool, my fiancé was impressed with this birthday gift - I don't know how I'm going to match such a cool gift next year!

They were able to find and customize a great map even during the very busy Christmas time, as you can see it is beautiful. You can see here the original map prior to 3D treatment and then the final result. Amazing! This is also an example of their aged map option which I think makes it all the better.
In the close up you can see the personalization that they put in for me featuring the locations of the first and last home my parents owned after moving to the area. They will be moving soon and this will be an amazing reminder of the beautiful area that they love. A very special and personal gift for my husbands 40th. The team worked with my brief - making a bespoke layout of the star map to include four different night skies for all the members of our family's birthdays. I like to save tickets and memorabilia from the countries I visit and display them. I find the best way is to surround a black and white map of the country so that they show up well. Unfortunately I searched high and low for a specific map of two neighbouring countries but couldn’t find what I was after until, I found The Unique Maps Co. and was offered a custom made map. I am thrilled with the results, how quickly it was designed and value for money. I will definitely be requesting more after my next travels.

I’m inlaying the map on a table going into the dinette on a boat, so i cut down the map and distressed it, to look like an old treasure map. Well overlay epoxy on top to encapsulate it, and get a smooth flat surface. Not the usual display of a new map on a wall, but it will turn out pretty neat in the end.

Whoa, the mountains actually pop right out of the map. It’s wild. Don’t think I’d bother if I lived somewhere flat, but if you’ve got a coastline or cool terrain, I bet it looks awesome. Love this monochrome map! Sebastian was very responsive and after placing the order, he sent a confirming mail with details immediately. I was expecting some delays as the delivery country was in Asia, but it was quickly printed and sent from Australia without any issue. I have lived in London for a few years and I was pleased to discover this little workshop to keep my memories of London!

I found Sebastian to be very helpful and when our map was delivered damaged by the courier he was quick to deal with the issue and arrange a replacement to be delivered straight away.

The original map I ordered had a slight issue with the image off centered in the frame.
The seller responded quickly, addressed the issue, apologized and immediately sent me a new map. One of the best customer service interactions I have had in years. You can tell the seller takes pride in his product and his priority is that you get the quality you paid for.
Overall the map itself is unique, beautiful, clear and just awesome! There is nothing like it anywhere else.
